Major Situation At Hand

Got some pretty shitty news this time. In a freak accident I broke my leg in 2 different places last Saturday, and the pain was insane. No, I wasn't waisted. So, I have to sit here in pain wearing a splint until this Thursday, when I get a metal rod shuved into my bone through my knee and then have it screwed into place from the sides. I've had to cancel a bunch of appointments this week, and really can't paint at all so I am sitting here drawing in a book everyday. This weekend was a real eye opener for me. I got to see who my real friends are, and what this tattoo industry is really about for some people. I have a feeling that after this surgery I will be a much different person, focusing on my family and art, and staying away from the nonsense and drama that lurks behind closed doors. It sucks that it took a broken leg for me to realize this, but now I know. So, the doctor says I should be able to get around on crutches by next week sometime, which means I should still be attending Hell City Pheonix. I have one opening left, and it's for a random person with a good idea that finds me at the Fusion Ink Booth. In the meantime, I'll be back at Coil Tattoo Gallery for appointments only.
